Davenport Public Library – Eastern Avenue Branch
This project consisted of the construction of a new 26,000 sq. ft. community library. The facility uses ground source heat pumps for its primary heating and cooling needs. The system consists of 12 water source heat pumps, 1 outdoor air heat pump with total energy recover wheel, 104 vertical geothermal wells and associated piping for the equipment. Underground fiberglass ductwork serves the majority of the facility, and was designed this way to allow for open and clean ceiling plan.
